The Upcoming LG G3 Lite Might Be The Next Google Nexus 6

We know that some smartphone companies come up with a “mini” version of their flagship devices, such as the HTC One Mini, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini, and most recently, the LG G2 Mini which seems to be the closest to its full blooded sibling in terms of hardware specifications and performance out of the lot. Having said that, the rumored Google Nexus 6 device was mentioned by Google’s Sundar Pichai at the recently concluded MWC 2014, where this next generation device is on its way to the market sometime in the second half of the year. This is not out of place at all, considering how the Google Nexus 5 itself is not all that old. We are, of course, making the assumption that this is the Google Nexus 6 that Mr. Pichai is talking about.

Apparently, Gizmodo picked up some insider information who touted that the Google Nexus 6 will be manufactured by the folks over at LG, and has mentioned that the Nexus 6 is set to be a “lightweight” version of the yet unannounced LG G3. If you want to know more about the LG G3, we have collected a most impressive set of rumors concerning its hardware specifications that point to a possible 64-bit processor, a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display, and a 16MP shooter at the back. It remains to be seen just how “lightweight” in comparison the Nexus 6 would be.
